She has a deep calling of God on her life and continues to heed the voice of God in obedience in every area of her life. She uses her own life's testimonies by showing that God is no respecter of persons' and desires that all come to repentance and be saved. She is an Ordained teacher, anointed preacher, and singer. She is an author with her first book titled, "You Are Destined to Overcome Beauty For Ashes", An entrepreneur (founder of KAZI Wellness Line), and has taught at conferences and churches in the United States, and abroad. Under the guidance and leadership of her Pastor and husband, she is the founder of TWOG (Triumphant Women of God), Ladies of Excellence ,which is a debutante program for girls from the ages of 5-17, and Beauty For Ashes (Isaiah 61:3), which is Christ centered to focus on and assist women in overcoming sexual abuse and rape. Shawanda and Pastor Robinson's Spiritual parents are Bishop I.V. and Dr. Bridget Hilliard, New Light Christian Center, Houston, Texas (the church in which Lady Shawanda once was and her family are still members). It was at New Light Christian Center Church that Shawanda was filled with the Holy Spirit with evidence of tongues; her life has never been the same.
Shawanda is a dedicated wife and mother. She is married to Pastor Jerry L. Robinson. They have two children, Jerry II and Joyce, and one grand-daughter Jenesis Robinson.
